Gold Quill Awards
program is a winner
There have been a lot of changes for IABC’s Gold Quill Awards program over the past several months. The entry process moved completely online to make it easier to enter. Five regional Blue Ribbon Panels of trained evaluators provided
more detailed feedback. We provided many more tips and insights as to how to create
a winning entry. And the changes paid off. This year’s program had more than 900
entrants and nearly 1,200 entries—an 18 percent increase in entrants over last year.
Our two newest categories—Communication Research Management, and Communication Education and Training—attracted 44 and 24 entries, respectively. A big
thank-you goes out to all of the volunteers, committee members and staff who helped
get us here. Now it’s on to the awards ceremony at the Gold Quill Gala, to be held
Monday, 24 June at the World Conference in New York City.
You can find a complete list of winners on the Gold Quill Awards website.
