for the World
It’s your opportunity to learn, connect, grow—
and explore the city that never sleeps
US News & World Report ranked New York City fifth among the top 10 destinations in the world. Experience the destination, skyline and more for yourself at IABC’s 2013 World Confer- ence, 23–26 June at the Hilton in New York City.
With speakers from the U.K., Italy, South Africa, Denmark, Canada
and the U.S., and nearly 2,000 attenders from around the world, this
year’s conference promises to be one of the more diverse events IABC
offers. General sessions will cover how to protect your brand from “digital
assassination,” taking the pulse of the new generation, conversations with
transformative CEOs, and other topics. With more than 70 sessions,
there will be no lack of opportunities to learn something new. You’ll also
be able to mingle, meet old friends and make new connections in the Big
Apple. To see more details about speakers and sessions, or to register, visit
the World Conference website.
World Conference session to highlight CSR research
Corporate social responsibility studies have typically focused on how
organizations can effectively communicate about CSR to stakeholders.
While this is clearly an important question, it limits our understanding
of CSR communication. CSR can be considered a two-way process that
includes stakeholder participation.
